Bruce Kern traveled extensively and lived abroad for a number of years while employed with Siemens Corporation as head of communications.
Bruce's Passions took him to numerous countries and his lifestyle afforded him the luxury to collect over his lifetime a broad spectrum of fine antiques and Antiquities many suitable for Advanced Collectors and museums.
Those who knew Bruce describe him as a true Renaissance Man. Intellectually curious and very knowledgeable and accomplished in many fields of endeavor.
He particularly enjoyed Cooking, Fine Food, decorating for Christmas, and the company of close friends.
Bruce was both a brilliant historian of Renaissance painting and sculpture and a highly astute collector of Oriental Arts.
Renaissance art is the painting, sculpture, and decorative arts of the period of European history in parallel with the developments which occurred in philosophy, literature, music, Science and Technology.
Thanks to his informed taste, Bruce was able to acquire important pieces by rising artists as well as the Masters.
